Serguei Beloussov

Executive Chairman and Co-Founder

Serguei is a successful self-made entrepreneur and business executive with an outstanding 15-year track record in building, growing and leading high-performing, multi-national high-tech companies in North America, Europe and Asia. Since 2003, he has been the Chairman and CEO of Parallels, a global leader in virtualization and automation software for consumers, businesses and service providers. He is also a Founder and major investor in Acronis, a global leader in storage management and disaster recovery software for consumers, SMBs and large enterprises. Previously, Serguei co-founded and helped grow a PC manufacturing business to $150 million in revenue in less than three years and the S&W electronics company to over $500 million in only eight years. He has an extensive knowledge of accounting and ERP software from his experience founding and managing the Solomon Software affiliate in Southeast Asia.

Serguei holds a B.S. in Physics, an M.S. in Physics and Electrical Engineering with High Honors, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.


Andrew Birch

General Manager – General Manager of Industry Solutions

Andrew Birch is MYOB’s General Manager of Industry Solutions.

A key member of the Executive team for more than six years, he is responsible for three functional areas of the business, the Accountants and Enterprise industry segments as well as the Group Marketing function. In addition Andrew holds a number of board seats for MYOB investment companies.

Andrew’s extensive career encompasses senior management positions within the technology, telecommunications and software sectors, particularly in the leadership and growth of significant technology companies. He has been heavily involved in the expansion of businesses through strong organic growth initiatives as well as strategic acquisitions.

Over 25+ years, Andrew has held executive and non-executive roles in organisations including Honeywell Pacific, Vodafone Australia, Telecommunication Industry Ombudsman, NetReturn and youth mentoring charity Raise Foundation Australia, where he remains a non-executive director.

Andrew believes commercial success is achieved through high performing teams that can anticipate, innovate and respond to existing and potential clients. At MYOB Andrew plays a significant role in ensuring the company responds to the needs of clients via its ongoing product and service development. Online (cloud) based solutions are now the core focus for MYOB for that reason.


Dr. Alexander “Sasha” Galitsky


Dr. Galitsky is a Managing Partner at Almaz Capital Partners, a Cisco-backed venture capital firm specializing in US-Russian investments. He is an internationally renowned technology entrepreneur and inventor who has worked in the defense industry, where he was responsible for low orbit data communication systems. He went on to found four successful technology companies. He pioneered ELVIS+ in WiFi technology and commercial implementation of FW/VPN products for the global market with Sun Microsystems. With TrustWorks, he became a “Technology Pioneer” at the Davos World Economic Forum 2000. Dr. Galitsky has authored more than 100 international publications and more than 30 inventions and patents. He has been a featured speaker at numerous international conferences and has been interviewed and profiled in the Wall Street JournalForbesThe New York Times, and The Financial Times.

Dr. Galitsky received his Ph.D in Computer Science from joint authority of the Defense Research Institute/MIPT in Moscow.


John S. Howell, Jr.


John has a successful 30-year track record as a software entrepreneur. Most notably, he helped build Solomon Software, Inc. to be the largest privately-held ERP software company in the USA. In 2000, Solomon merged with Great Plains, Inc. and the combined entity was acquired by Microsoft. At Solomon, John was President and CEO of the International division for 10 years, and prior to that, he was Worldwide VP of Sales and Marketing for eight years. Prior to Solomon, he was co-founder and CEO of Computech Group, Inc. which was purchased by Solomon Software. In 2000, John became an investor and advisor to Sphere Communications, Inc. until it was acquired in 2007 by NEC Corporation.

He received his B.S. in Marketing from the Pennsylvania State University in 1975.


Ezequiel Steiner


Ezequiel has more than 15 years of experience in the high-tech industry including servers and infrastructure software. Prior to joining Acumatica as CEO in 2009, Ezequiel led the corporate and business development team at Parallels where he helped the company grow from a start-up to a leader in the virtualization and automation software market. Prior to Parallels, he spent several years in sales and marketing management positions at IBM where he was awarded the IBM Role Model Award and was instrumental in the successful displacement of IBM competitors from major accounts. Previously, he was a consultant for General Electric, and worked for Xerox and Direct S.A.

Ezequiel holds a B.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Buenos Aires and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
