Serguei Beloussov
Chairman of the Board
Mr. Beloussov is a successful self-made entrepreneur and business executive with an outstanding 15-year track record in building, growing and leading high-performing, multi-national high tech companies in North America, Europe and Asia. Since 2003, he has been the Chairman and CEO of Parallels, a global leader in virtualization and automation software for consumers, businesses and service providers. He is also a Founder and major investor in Acronis, a global leader in storage management and disaster recovery software for consumers, SMBs and large enterprises. Previously, Mr. Beloussov co-founded and helped grow a PC manufacturing business to $150 million in revenue in less than 3 years and the S&W electronics company to over $500 million in only 8 years. Mr. Beloussov has a extensive knowledge of accounting and ERP software from his experience founding and managing the Solomon Software affiliate in Southeast Asia.
Mr. Beloussov holds a B.S. in Physics, an M.S. in Physics and Electrical Engineering with High Honors, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
Dr. Alexander "Sasha" Galitsky
Director
Dr. Galitsky is a Managing Partner at Almaz Cpaital Partners, a Cisco-backed venture capital firm specializing in US-Russian investments. Dr. Galitsky is an internationally renowned technology entrepreneur and inventor who has worked in the defense industry with responsibility for low orbit data communication systems and gone on to found four successful technology companies. He pioneered ELVIS+ in WiFi technology and commercial implementation of FW/VPN products for the global market with Sun Microsystems. With TrustWorks, he became a "Technology Pioneer" at the Davos World Economic Forum 2000. Dr. Galitsky has authored more than a hundred international publications and more than 30 inventions and patents. He’s been a featured speaker at numerous international conferences and has been interviewed and profiled in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, The New York Times, The Financial Times.
Dr. Galitsky received his Ph.D in Computer Science from joint authority of the Defense Research Institute/MIPT in Moscow.
John S. Howell, Jr.
Director
Mr. Howell has a successful 30 year track record as a software entrepreneur. Most notably, he helped build Solomon Software, Inc. to be the largest privately held ERP software company in the USA. In 2000 Solomon merged with Great Plains, Inc. and the combined entity was acquired by Microsoft. At Solomon Mr. Howell was President and CEO of the International division for 10 years, and prior to that he was Worldwide VP Sales and Marketing for 8 years. Prior to Solomon, Mr. Howell was co-founder and CEO of Computech Group, Inc. which was purchased by Solomon Software. In 2000 Mr. Howell became an investor and advisor to Sphere Communications, Inc. until it was acquired in 2007 by NEC Corporation.
Mr. Howell received his B.S. in Marketing from the Pennsylvania State University in 1975.
Ezequiel Steiner
Director and CEO
Mr. Steiner has over 15 years of experience in the high tech industry including servers and infrastructure software. Prior to joining Acumatica, Ezequiel led the corporate and business development team at Parallels where he helped the company grow from a start-up phase to a leader in the virtualization and automation software market. Prior to Parallels he spent several years in sales and marketing management positions at IBM where he was awarded the IBM Role Model Award and was instrumental in the successful displacement of IBM competitors from major accounts. Previously, he was a consultant for General Electric, and worked for Xerox and Direct S.A.
Ezequiel holds a B.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Buenos Aires and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
