Business Development Manager
We are looking for a talented person to extend the market reach of Acumatica by aggressively driving partnerships with software vendors and technology companies.
The ideal candidate will have experience driving OEM sales though partners with expertise in Accounting, ERP and CRM software.
Core Responsibilities
- Recruit independent software vendors (ISVs) to integrate and sell Acumatica with their existing product lines.
- Drive partners to achieve sales quota objectives and partnership potential.
- Manage and be the main point of contact for ISV partners.
- Assist partners with sales to end users.
- Communicate new product offerings to partners.
- Recommend procedures to improve partner management.
- Maintain awareness of competitive products and offerings.
- Present and help partners execute joint lead generation activities such as trade shows, email blasts, and advertising.
Required Skills and Talents
- Experience with financial (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), or business management software.
- Four-year college degree (Computer Science or Engineering a plus) from a top school.
- Five years of experience at a successful software or high tech company
- Experience working with and growing an OEM partner channel.
- Experience selling to and working with mid-sized business customers.
- Passion for software and the ability to understand high level technical concepts quickly.
- Ability to thrive in a challenging, demanding and rapidly changing environment.
- Demonstrated success in working on many activities concurrently and with minimal direction.
Location and Travel
- Washington, DC area (preferred)
- Some overnight travel required
