Senior Product Manager
We are looking for a talented person to assist with product planning and execution to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Senior Product Manager will work with engineering, sales, and marketing to gather and prioritize product and customer requirements and define a product roadmap that is consistent with Acumatica’s strategy and goals.
The ideal candidate will have experience with accounting, ERP, and CRM software product planning.
Core Responsibilities
- Work with engineering to define the product strategy and roadmap.
- Gather requirements from customers and partners to deliver a prioritized list of features and expected benefits.
- Track competitors and define the benefits of Acumatica versus the competition.
- Run beta and pilot programs for new product releases and upgrades.
- Consult with marketing, finance, and sales to define product launch and demand generation plans.
- Deliver top quality release documents targeting customers and partners.
Required Skills and Talents
- Experience working as a product manager for a successful software company that markets ERP or CRM software.
- Demonstrated success in defining and launching software products.
- Four-year college degree (Computer Science or Engineering a plus) from a top school.
- Passion for software and the ability to understand high level technical concepts quickly.
- Ability to build teamwork across a diverse set of individuals and job classes.
- Demonstrated success in working on many activities concurrently and with minimal direction.
- Examples of deliverables from products and programs that were managed in the past.
Location and Travel
- Washington, DC area (preferred)
- Some overnight travel required
