Ali Jani, Everest Software Founder, Joins Acumatica as VP of Product Management
Technology executive to leverage 20 years of ERP software and management expertise to deliver cloud ERP solution.
BETHESDA, Md., May 12, 2010 Acumatica, a provider of cloud ERP software today announced that Ali Jani has joined the Company as Vice President of Product Management. In this role, Mr. Jani is responsible for Acumatica's product portfolio, product life-cycle, and go-to-market strategy. Mr. Jani will be driving product innovation and addressing real ERP market challenges by creating a product road-map in collaboration with customers and resellers.
Mr. Ali Jani is an experienced technology executive with over 20 years of experience in the software industry. He has been involved with the creation of a number of successful software firms, where he served as a key business strategist and was instrumental in driving rapid, multi-million dollar revenue growth. Having held several leadership positions, Mr. Jani brings a wide spectrum of operational and senior management experience.
Prior to working at Acumatica, Mr. Jani founded Everest Software and pioneered the first all-in-one ERP solution for multi-channel SMBs. At Everest Software, Ali developed several commercial business management solutions on multiple platforms using multiple delivery models. He was responsible for product development as well as the business direction of Everest until its sale to Versata Software in 2009. Since 1989, Ali has been involved in ERP product management - first developing internal solutions for Accel Inc., a white-box PC manufacturer, and later for iCode, an ERP software company targeting SMB distribution and manufacturing.
