Acumatica Scores High Among Business Students in Singapore Who Experience the Benefits of Cloud and SaaS ERP
Singapore’s Temasek Polytechnic, School of Business lauds Acumatica’s cloud-based accounting solutions for secure “anywhere and anytime” functionality, user-friendliness and speed.
BETHESDA, Md., October 14, 2010 Acumatica, a provider of cloud ERP software today announced that its cloud ERP software was highly rated among accounting and finance students at Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore. After utilizing Acumatica’s software, students quickly realized the advantages of cloud-based accounting solutions over traditional solutions. Many found that Acumatica provided the benefits of access from anywhere and ease of deployment without sacrificing speed or features – capabilities vital for today’s global business environment.
Temasek Polytechnic, School of Business teamed-up with Acumatica to introduce new SaaS accounting tools that would enable students to make innovative use of the growing cloud computing trend. During the semester, a traditional desktop client/server-driven accounting application was used to train students on General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable modules, while Acumatica was introduced in the curriculum to allow the students to experience web-based software that provided access from anywhere.
In a survey completed by over 100 students, most students were impressed by Acumatica’s SaaS platform, especially its user-friendly interface and convenience of being able to retrieve real-time data, web-based features, and reports from any location - without the complex set up and requirements associated with traditional client software.
