OneHarvest food distributor selects Acumatica, joins other Non-Profits, to reduce costs and provide better customer service
BETHESDA, Md., March 9, 2011 Acumatica, a global provider of Cloud ERP software announced today that OneHarvest Food Ministries, a non-profit distributor of high quality foods, has implemented the Acumatica Distribution Management Suite, Acumatica Customer Management Suite, and BV Commerce for Acumatica to manage their order processing, purchasing, online sales, accounting, and customer relations activities. OneHarvest also joins a growing number of non-profit customers using Acumatica.
OneHarvest implemented Acumatica because of their need for a highly efficient ordering and distribution solution to support their goal of passing along savings of up to 50% to their clients. The company distributes food to thousands of non-denominational, faith-based organizations with different ordering and distribution responsibilities. In Acumatica they found a system that could manage the complex structure of distribution drop-off points and different levels of authority they required.

Unlike other SaaS solutions, Acumatica allows OneHarvest to switch to an on-premise deployment if their requirements change.
