Kirkland, WA, August 19, 2013 — Acumatica, the fastest-growing global provider of cloud-based ERP solutions to small and medium-sized companies (SMBs), today released its latest version — 4.1 — its most user-friendy product yet.
The key theme in this latest release is simplicity.
CTO Mike Chtchelkonogov said: “With 4.1, we’ve continued to build on our usability story. We know how the modern information worker uses and processes data and we’ve built our product to respond to those needs while offering anytime, anywhere access.”
Among the major upgrades included in this 4.1 release:
- Advanced column and parametric filtering
- Optimized data entry with suggestion and auto-complete capabilities
- Real-time connectivity with Excel
- The ability to add and secure specific import scenarios to the menu system
- Improved layout of reports and printed forms
- Simplified scheduling for recurring general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions
- Expanded developer documentation
- Drag and drop support for uploading and attaching files
Chtchelkonogov added: “We listened to our partners and added key functionalities into Acumatica 4.1 that matter to our users. We’ve improved so much in our latest release that it’s more than just a 4.1 refresh. You can even say this is a 4.5 release. We’ve taken the product so far, and I am excited to build on that to offer even more in 5.0.”
Acumatica 4.1, when paired with the company’s flexible licensing options, makes it a compelling product, said CEO Yury Larichev. “The flexible licensing and deployment options that Acumatica offers, from subscription or perpetual to on-premises or hosted cloud options, gives our customers true choice in the marketplace.
“We also never charge per user, and so this unlimited user pricing helps growing businesses account for, and include everyone in the company without breaking the bank.”
The much-anticipated new version was showcased at the 2013 Acumatica Partner Summit in front of more than 300 partner attendees from 98 partner organizations, a record turnout for the annual event.
“The terrific response we’ve seen at this year’s Partner Summit is proof that Acumatica’s Cloud ERP is gaining traction among partners and customers,” Larichev said. “Our company has exciting plans for the future, which we shared with our partners, and we look forward to growing our bottom lines together.”
