File Management
File attachments enable users to attach images, PDF's, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office files, faxes, scanned receipts, and other digitized business documents to the wiki pages and financial transactions.
You can distribute and share the documents between the system users to improve user collaboration and centrally manage information. You can also simplify auditing because receipts, invoices, contracts, and other supporting documentation are directly linked to and available with the financial transactions.

Attach Files to Any Content
Acumatica file management allows you to attach files to any financial transaction or wiki article. The presence of an attachment is denoted on each transaction so you can download the attachment without having to navigate to a different screen. Documents attached to the wiki articles can be published for internal or external use.
Global File Search and Navigation
You can search for file names or descriptions using the Acumatica global search capabilities. When you find a document, you can navigate to the file details and view the list of articles where it appears or entities that it is attached to. You can also browse the files through the dedicated files inquiry screen that provides the hierarchical view on the files stored with Acumatica.
Checkout and Version Management
Acumatica maintains a history of all submitted files. Users with appropriate access rights can browse the file history, download earlier file versions, and see who uploaded the original file version or made modifications. When modifying a file you can utilize the system checkout feature to prevent other people from uploading a new version of the file before you are finished making your modifications.
Access Rights Validation
Acumatica automatically assigns file access rights when the file is uploaded to the system. The set of permissions is set based on the article or transaction that the file is linked to. Access rights can control file view, modification and deletion rights.
Email Integration
You can attach files to notification templates or e-mail notifications. The attachment will be delivered over the email as well as stored together with notification history.
