SO to PO Link Module
Many distributors manage complex orders that include multiple lines, multiple quantities and drop shipments. Order fulfillment requires oversight of buy/sell transactions that include multiple vendors, contract terms and logistics. Change orders may be a constant. Fulfillment may be from stock or via dropship or both. In addition, SO-to-PO relationships may be other than one-one; e.g. when distributors’ purchase order quantities in excess of a specific “linked” sales order requirement(s)—to meet/ benefit from volume discounts, order minimums and other business realities.
