Great connector, even better support

We have been using the Magento Connector for Acumatica for about 3 years now, and it has been a very positive experience. There were some initial hiccups during the implementation phase (as there is for any IT project) and the Kensium team was extremely responsive and communicative with my concerns and issues.

My initial project manager, Lokesh, is still my main contact at Kensium, and it's a great feeling to know I can continue to reach out to him any time, even 3 years after initial implementation. It's a level of personalization that I can really appreciate, especially because we have a lot of customizations specific to our setup, and he's uniquely familiar with it.

As far as the connector software goes, it's solid, reliable, and easy to use. It saves me a ton of time being able to sync Acumatica products into our Magento system, and likewise syncing orders from Magento back into Acumatica has not only increased our efficiency but also our accuracy (no more manual data entry for those orders, and the mistakes that go with it).

Overall, we're extremely pleased with both the software and support we receive from Kensium, and we plan on sticking with this setup long term.

Time savings

We've been using the Kensium Magento Connector for about 3 years. Before the connector we were manually entering data. With the connector in place, we no longer have entry errors and have regained 2-4 hours per day, depending on the order volume.

Kensium has a large team of developers, product managers, and many other roles. This has made getting support seamless. They are always on time with updates and other requests.

The unique aspect of Kensium is their expertise in both Acumatica and Magento. This means if you can dream of an improvement or fringe request they can implement it.

Many features / useful addition

In my opinion the Magento connector is a fully integrated extension of the Magento application. Without it, the effort we would have had to undertake to connect Acumatica to Magento would have been unfathomable.

In simple terms it is an interface which allows us to seamlessly pass to pass orders between Magento and Acumatica.

However, it also allows us to pass order information back from Acumatica to Magento. This allows us to keep track of order statuses, and other pertinent order information available for use in either application. The feature set of the connector also allows us to also pass inventory and customer information between the two applications allowing us to keep the two applications in sync without the need for extra staff. Keeping stock levels automatically synchronized between the two applications means there is no concern about overselling (or underselling) items on our storefront.

Our business is rapidly growing and changing, and since each version brings a huge number of improvements and additional features, the Magento connector never restricts our ability to accommodate the changing business environment.

Syncs everything we need to between the systems!

We've been using the Magento Connector since we first launched on Acumatica in 2018. It was good to begin with but the latest version blows away the original. Syncs are now handled by messaging queues allowing much more real-time data. Our business involves a great deal of order edits, and as you may know Magento doesn't really like to change orders much besides the order status once it's placed. The most recent version connector version gets around that problem with some parallel data storage allowing our customers to have a full real-time view of what their order currently looks like in the ERP system. This is the first time our company has ever had that capability on any of our platforms and the difference this is going to make to the end user and to our customer service is going to be exciting this spring. We're anticipating huge savings of CS time by not needing to answer as many "where's my order" questions.

Kensium support is top notch, some of the best I've encountered. They're focused on how to both resolve the issue in the moment to lower the crisis level and what the long term fix would be.
Their Level 1 support is always available and if they need someone with more specific knowledge they can get them in short order.

We wondered how it was going to be working with a company with many of its developers overseas; I can tell you it turns out there are a lot of advantages to it. In addition to them still being available for a large portion of the day (especially in the morning when you're more likely to find problems anyway) the fact that they're overseas means they end up having all night (their day) to work on a problem and we can come in in the morning with solutions in place.
