The people of One Channel North America Inc. have over 70 years combined experience working with Acumatica and many other popular accounting/ERP systems. One Channel North America Inc. has specialized in Point of Sale Systems Integrated to Sage 300 ERP and Sage 50 (Simply Accounting) for over 25 Years, One Channel North America Inc. has a deep understanding of what is necessary to fully integrate Retail/POS to Accounting/ERP Systems. One Channel North America Inc grew out of an organization that was originally a Sage (Accpac) reseller that specialized in Point of Sale. That organization evolved into an Accpac third party developer and, using the experience gained in this industry developed its own retail software.
Now, with hundreds of companies using our legacy Point of Sale Systems, we are well positioned to meet your current and future Point of Sale requirements by taking our expertise to Acumatica.
Moving forward, were excited about taking on the coming challenges as software evolves to the internet and beyond. Most of the time the tool just works, so it blends into the background. There are some quirks and some learning pains along the way - it took us a minute to get fully integrated with all of our group and document discounts, but we got there in the end.
We created one or two heavily customized workflows, and the 1Retail team didn't miss a beat. The integration and support team are excellent and very responsive.
1Retail has been an excellent replacement for our previous POS system and has integrated seamlessly with Acumatica. The implementation successfully delivered the functionality we required while improving inventory management, streamlining retail operations, and providing a strong foundation for future growth. One of the most significant improvements was the ability to eliminate the need for allowing negative inventory while still enabling sales to continue through exception-based inventory handling. This has improved inventory integrity without slowing down counter sales operations.
One of the biggest advantages of 1Retail is its full support for Acumatica pricing controls. Customer-specific pricing, price classes, discounts, rebates, promotions, and account-specific pricing all work within the existing Acumatica pricing engine. During testing and go-live, pricing controls behaved as expected and remained consistent between point-of-sale transactions and Acumatica.
The system also supports many of the business processes that are important to our organization, including multi-location customers, customer account controls, customer-specific pop-up messages, route sales operations, inventory management, and Acumatica-based credit controls. The integration feels native to Acumatica, making it easier for users to adopt and reducing the need for duplicate maintenance.
User adoption has been very positive. Following implementation, our project survey showed unanimous support for continuing with the platform, and feedback indicated that users appreciated the improved functionality and integration. The combination of vendor support, testing, training, and internal collaboration contributed to a successful rollout.
Like any ERP-connected POS implementation, there is a learning curve and some process adjustments required when transitioning from older systems. We encountered a few minor issues and configuration questions during testing, but none were significant enough to impact the overall success of the project or prevent us from meeting our goals.
Overall, 1Retail met our functional requirements, improved operational efficiency, strengthened inventory controls, and fully leveraged Acumatica's capabilities. We would confidently recommend it to other Acumatica customers looking for a modern, integrated point-of-sale solution.
