We track from wharf to warehouse for shipping lines and shipping vessels or any in-transit inventory locations. We include item-specific information such as duty and customs hold.

The Shipping Container Management was part of our initial Acumatica setup for managing our in-transit imports when we went live in 2018. This customization has provided us the tools we need to manage and update container information throughout the entire process and give visibility of what’s happening to the rest of the company. Entering landed costs has also been streamlined by allowing our Purchasing department to add all landed costs for the container/individual items on one screen while still creating the appropriate landed cost documents for each vendor.

The initial configuration was complex and we had some challenges to overcome, but PC Bennett has been responsive to the few support issues we’ve encountered. Product updates for each new Acumatica build have been very quick and continually improves ease of use.
