Acumatica 2025 R2 Construction Feature Overview

When we first introduced Acumatica Construction Edition in 2018, we knew you needed a single, sophisticated application to manage, organize, and analyze your critical data (sourced from your back office and field service locations) so that you could make fast, strategic decisions. Seven years later, we know the need for an end-to-end construction solution that lets you manage projects, documents, employees, and customers in one place is stronger than ever.

With Acumatica 2025 R2, Acumatica Construction Edition, we build on that strong foundation. For instance, we created our new Modern Document Management system so that you can more easily organize and manage your many project-related documents.

The Modern Document Management system allows you to tag files and easily search for them based on the tagged information. In addition to storing files securely, you’ll be able to efficiently organize your files, speed up your information-gathering tasks, and ensure project accuracy and compliance from your personal project workspace.

Besides document management, there’s another major need in the construction space and that’s simplifying the complex appointments and scheduling processes your team members deal with daily. Our Modern Field Service Calendar Board allows dispatchers to see scheduled and unscheduled work as well as schedule new work or shift appointments (due to emergencies and adjusting priorities) with drag-and-drop scheduling features—all with flexible view options, personalized filters, and map visualization capabilities featuring real-time tracking location capabilities available at their fingertips.

In addition to our updated field service calendar board, managing your KPIs and metrics (along with related project information) just got easier. Our Project 360 & Reporting feature with enhanced industry reports offers actionable insights into:

    • Committed/forecasted costs

Making faster, more data-driven decisions because your KPIs are all in one location—specifically, in a new Project 360 dashboard—will transform how you address issues and reduce risk.
