Acumatica Summit 2026 (January 25–28) is just around the corner, and, in recent blogs, we’ve been featuring just a few of the exciting activities in our packed agenda. We’ve covered the informative, interactive, and immersive Breakout Sessions, talked about why Summit 2026 is a “can’t miss event, and explored why Seattle is, as Acumatica Chief Marketing Officer Todd Wells puts it, “the perfect setting for our vibrant Community of partners, customers, prospects, engineers, and creators to gather, learn, engage, and discover new ways to increase business performance.”
But Summit is about much more than just business management. It’s about connection—about bringing people together in a relaxed, friendly environment where they can interact and build relationships that last long after the Summit doors have closed. That’s why we have carefully built social and networking events into the agenda and why we’ve chosen vibrant, tech-centric Seattle as the backdrop for Summit 2026.
Here’s a breakdown of what’s in store.
The Event
We’re making it easy for attendees to connect with each other on a deeper level and build supportive networks to help their businesses thrive.
Throughout the event, starting with the Welcome Reception (Sunday, January 25, 6:00 PM), you have the ideal setting to eat, drink, talk, renew old relationships and meet new friends. Join us at the Celebration Party for food, drinks, and engaging conversation—all set to music by DJ Kara (Tuesday, January 27, 7:30 PM). And come to the Closing Reception (Wednesday, January 28, 2:00 PM) for refreshments, a live music performance, and a final chance to network with your peers in the Acumatica Community before Summit 2026 draws to a close.
Hackathon 2026 will once again bring together innovators from all parts of the Acumatica Community—developers, customers, partners, and beyond—to imagine what’s possible with the Acumatica xRP platform. It’s the perfect environment for ideation and building brand new Acumatica applications to help small and midsized businesses seize opportunities and thrive. As usual, the top three teams will receive a cash prize and have their names engraved on the prestigious Acumatica Developer Network Hackathon Cup.
And our ninth annual Women in Tech Luncheon, this year accompanied by a new Networking Lounge, will feature an inspiring presentation from award-winning author, speaker, and founder of Tech Savvy Women, JJ DiGeronimo, who is joining us for her fourth Summit. JJ will also be moderating our insightful panel discussion. The Women in Tech Networking Lounge will be a venue for fireside chats and interactive workshops. Acumatica Chief People Officer Martha-Lucia Groulx will speak on “Coaching for Life Purpose,” and our Senior Recruiter, Sonia Tanase, will preside over the “Landing Your Dream Job” workshop. We will also have a dedicated time for mentor and mentee networking and a fireside chat with Acumatica’s Women in Tech leaders. (More information on our Women in Tech events will be coming soon!)
The Location
But the social opportunities don’t end with the Summit agenda. Our recent “Why Seattle” blog covered the region’s history and status as a tech center, the awe-inspiring nature that surrounds it, and its major attractions—like Pike’s Place Market, Chihuly Garden and Glass, and the Museum of Pop Culture. But Seattle has so much more to offer than these famous destinations. Here are just a few of the events and experiences you’ll find in Cloud City:
-
- The Seattle Chamber Music Society’s Winter Festival: Running from January 23 to February 1 in Nordstrom Recital Hall at Benaroya Hall, the Winter Festival brings together “31 world-renowned classical musicians” for “an inspiring celebration of classical music.”
- Pacific Science Center: With the distinction of being the first science and technology center in the United States, PacSci is the place “to learn about and celebrate scientific and technology achievement.” You can watch films on Washington’s largest IMAX screen, see immersive Laser Done shows, visit the interactive Planetarium, and explore many special and permanent exhibits on everything from outer space to tropical butterflies.
- Museum of Illusions Seattle: For a mesmerizing experience, visit the MOI, where you’ll discover mind-bending illusion rooms, installations, holograms, and optical illusions.
- Bill Speidel’s Underground Tour: Step into Seattle’s history—literally. If you go on this tour, you’ll explore the late nineteenth century buildings that were once Seattle. After the fire of 1889, these buildings were abandoned and the present city built on top of them.
- The Museum of History and Industry: At MOHAI, you’ll find “exhibits and programs that share the unforgettable stories of the people who shaped Seattle into the place it is today.” The permanent Maritime Seattle exhibit covers the history of the city’s working waterfront.
- Seattle Bouldering Project: And if you’re looking for a new fitness adventure, visit the Seattle Bouldering Project for a unique indoor rock-climbing experience.
