In just a few short months, hundreds of Acumatica value-added resellers (VARs), ISVs, service and alliance partners will be descending on the beautiful Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center to attend Acumatica’s first-ever partner-only event, Acumatica Ascent 2026 (August 17-20, 2026).
As the Acumatica ecosystem continues to grow, partner success increasingly depends on the ability to develop expertise, scale delivery capabilities, and create consistent customer outcomes. Acumatica Ascent was created to help partners build those capabilities through focused education, peer learning, and practical execution strategies.
However, this exciting inaugural event, dedicated to accelerating partner success through comprehensive skill development, is about more than just training. It’s also an do-not-miss opportunity to network, connect, and learn from other Acumatica partners.
John Case explains it this way: “Beyond just covering essential education, training, and skills development, Acumatica Ascent will be a vital gathering of our amazing partner ecosystem where ideas are exchanged, plans are built, and best practices are shared.”
While our annual Summit brings together the broader Acumatica Community, Acumatica Ascent is designed exclusively for partners and promises to be an empowering, high-impact experience focused on the skills, practices, and business strategies that drive partner growth. For the Acumatica partners who are attending, here’s what you can expect.
Acumatica Ascent: Three Days to Transform Your Business
According to Sean Chatterjee, Acumatica SVP, Americas, Acumatica Ascent is designed to help partners get smarter, faster. The result? He says, “Better customer outcomes and sustained success for our partners to help them build and scale a high-performing Acumatica practice.”
It may seem like a lot to ask of a three-day event, but the Acumatica Ascent agenda is designed to optimize the partner learning and growing experience. With insightful keynote messages, hands-on, interactive sessions and workshops, and peer roundtables, each activity and engagement is planned with your long-term success in mind. Your job before arriving on Monday, 8/17 is to complete your pre-work as well as to select the breakout sessions that will address your areas of interest and build the skills and knowledge that will be most valuable in your role and your organization.
If you haven’t had time yet to review the event sessions, here is just a brief sampling of the more than 60 breakout sessions available to you. Keep in mind that spots are limited, and they’re filling up fast, so you’ll want to make your selections soon!
AI in ERP: Is Your Practice AI Ready?
This session will cover what AI readiness really means for an Acumatica practice, from both an in-house productivity and a customer-facing consultancy perspective. Attendees will explore the history, current status, and future of the AI/ERP landscape and learn what questions to ask customers and prospects to best assist them on their AI journeys. The session will also cover Acumatica’s built-in AI tools, ways AI Studio can be used with external LLMs, and the broader scope of integrated, external AI Agents. Attendees will gain a practical framework for deploying and using AI themselves and helping customers and prospects derive positive, practical returns from AI.
Pre-Sales to Delivery: Ensuring Every Critical Insight and Promise Transfers
This session will explore how to identify and document critical customer insights and promises made during the pre-sales process. Attendees will also learn how to develop a structured handoff process that ensures all relevant information is transferred from pre-sales to delivery teams. They will walk away knowing how to establish clear communication channels and roles to ensure a smooth transition, as well as how to measure and improve the effectiveness of the handoff process to enhance customer satisfaction.
Vertical Specialization: Multiply Deal Velocity and Project Success
This session will cover how ERP practices can develop vertical specialization by identifying and targeting high-growth vertical markets that align with their expertise and strengths. Attendees will also learn how to develop targeted solutions and value propositions that resonate with vertical customers; how to leverage vertical specialization to differentiate themselves from competitors and accelerate deal velocity; and how to measure and optimize the effectiveness of vertical specialization strategies. Attendees will come away with a structured approach to ERP project delivery that ensures business outcomes; proven execution controls to track progress and manage risks; and strategies for stakeholder engagement, communication, and training to ensure project success.
Customer Alignment: Gaining Alignment—Practice Lab
This 90-minute Practice Lab, designed to follow the Customer Alignment: Gaining Alignment for Smooth Sailing Breakout Session, will give attendees an opportunity to practice the alignment process with peers and identify specific moments and signs of misalignment. Attendees will complete practice reps of the alignment framework, so they can have confidence in employing it. They will also walk away with experience in surfacing hidden assumptions, as well as a toolkit that complements the de-escalation skills from the Issue De-Escalation: Managing Difficult Interactions Breakout Session and corresponding Practice Lab. Those who attend all four related sessions will benefit from the full de-escalation and alignment toolkit and leave knowing how to get things unstuck and keep things on track.
WORKSHOP Best Practices: ‘Why I Win’—Sharing What Drives Success
This interactive session brings Sales Engineers together to share real-world insights about what consistently leads to successful sales engagements. Unlike feature-focused discussions, this session centers on the process, preparation, and behaviors that contribute to winning deals. Attendees are encouraged to come prepared with their own perspectives on “Why I Win”—including how they approach discovery, align with sales teams, prepare for demos, manage customer interactions, and differentiate themselves throughout the sales cycle. The goal is to surface practical, experience-based advice that others can learn from and apply.
These sessions are just a taste of the invaluable learning and discovering awaiting you at Ascent. Ascent will feature more than 60 breakout sessions in a variety of compelling formats including workshops, lectures, labs, and interactive roundtables. The sessions are specifically designed for a variety of roles including presales, solution architects, business consulting, developers, services, and practice owners.
To get the full lineup of sessions, go to the agenda tab at our Acumatica Ascent registration page. For those still interested in attending, registration is available via Acumatica Ascent 2026 | Partner Event.
