Ease of training
Our ecommerce business is relatively simple – we are an educational toy company and we sell on Amazon and direct through our website. We use Acumatica in the background to keep track of inventory and A/R in one of our tenants. We needed a solution that would integrate with Acumatica and keep the number of modules, integrations, etc. to a minimum.
The TrueCommerce solution was able to provide us with a front-end website for the checkout process that integrates with our already existing website which contains visual content and info. The front-end website orders then flow to the Nexternal/TrueCommerce order management system for processing. The order management system brings in our orders processed through Amazon automatically. We also use the POS solution of TrueCommerce for doing trade shows where we do sales on the spot. As orders are processed, they get automatically sent over to Acumatica through an EDI/Transaction handler.
The orders are then processed in Acumatica. The really nice part is that the orders from the website, POS, and Amazon all come to the same order system and then flow to Acumatica from the same module. Additionally, if we want to start using another marketplace in addition to Amazon (eBay, etc.) we don’t have use different tools – we can add that into existing modules.
Our implementation was very organized and we were guided through the process very professionally by various experts at TrueCommerce. They had plenty of resources and were very thorough in helping us get configured on issues such as shipping, discounting, tax, etc.
We really like the product, tools, and connectivity and look forward to upgrades and enhancements as our needs grow. We also have confidence in the people behind the scenes at TrueCommerce and want them to keep the platform up to date, secure, and reliable. We view them as a partner in our business.
The TrueCommerce integration for Acumatica works well for us and does a lot of the “heavy lifting” which makes life a lot easier for our business.
