Our experience with True Commerce has been overwhelmingly positive. The solution is priced appropriately for the value it delivers, and the overall EDI implementation process was smooth and well-managed. The implementation team demonstrated notable patience and expertise throughout the project, ensuring we stayed on track and ultimately delivered on the exact timeline promised at the outset.
The platform features a clean, intuitive interface that makes daily use efficient and enjoyable. We especially appreciate having full access to X12 data, with any missing information clearly identifiable, which significantly simplifies troubleshooting and data validation. The connection to Acumatica has been seamless as well, contributing to streamlined workflows and reduced manual effort.
There are, however, a couple of usability improvements that would enhance the overall experience. Having to type in my email address every time I log in is inconvenient, and a “remember me” option would be a welcome addition. Additionally, the need to reconnect to Acumatica periodically can be a nuisance, even though it does not impact overall functionality.
Post-implementation support has been excellent. The customer service team has been consistently responsive and helpful, reinforcing our confidence in both the product and the partnership.
Overall, True Commerce has proven to be a reliable, user-friendly, and well-supported solution that meets the needs of our business, with only minor areas where convenience features could further improve the user experience.
Using the TrueCommerce Integration with Acumatica has freed up 3-4 hours/day that it would have typically taken to process orders, ASN's, and invoices manually. It has allowed us to almost gain a new employee with the time saved!
The integration once set up is a reliable EDI connector. It takes some time and work with TC and your VAR but once it is out of testing it can largely be left alone, depending on what your trading partner requires.
There are some features that we hope to see improvement on in regard to certain fields be available to be pulled over in the connection but for the most part we are satisfied as to the functionality and automation the connector brings.
Switching to Acumatica has been a great improvement from our previous CRM. We are so much more consolidated into one system instead of so many different ones we had before. Once you learn the environment it is relatively easy to navigate. Plus it is very customizable.

My favorite thing about using True Commerce is that they have the Transaction Manger which will allow you to do many things but the best part is it will catch the errors before they go out to the trading partner. This will help prevent lots of headaches and chargebacks down the road.
The software works out-of the box!
Coming from a previously complex and largely manual QuickBooks Online + TrueCommerce integration, our goal in implementing Acumatica + TrueCommerce was to automate as much of our EDI processes as possible. Our trading partner document requirements and business processes are fairly complex as well. We knew when we selected Acumatica as our ERP that TrueCommerce’s EDI Solution was relatively new and were prepared accordingly.
To our surprise, we found the EDI solution to be more mature than expected and highly configurable, allowing us to automate just about all of our EDI business processes from PO to Invoicing and adjust to various trading partner needs. With the help of the integration specialist, all of the standard docs like 810, 846, 856, 850, 855s were mapped using the standard and user defined fields in Acumatica. Working directly with our specialist and the TrueCommerce developer team, we were also able to take some very complex Wayfair 945 requirements and convert a Sales Order into a Confirmed Shipment.
852s are not supported in the current EDI solution, but between TrueCommerce FTP and the flexibility of Acumatica’s Import Scenarios, NetAtWork (our Acumatica Partner) was able to create a solution to import the 852 reservation into an Acumatica Sales Quote.
The solution is still maturing and definitely requires configuring and testing to your own unique requirements. We’ve had to customize the TrueCommerce Inventory General Inquiry to include 0 on hands. But TrueCommerce has welcomed our feedback and has been incorporating much of our experience and this customization into future releases.
Although we are very pleased with TrueCommerce’s EDI Solution, the key to our successful integration has been our Integration Specialist – resilient and a brilliant problem solver and quick to respond to issues. Our implementation of TrueCommerce EDI’s solution with Acumatica has allowed us to experience tremendous productivity gains in transaction processing helping us meeting our original business goal, providing the foundation for scale.
