Other than their first names, what do Acumatica’s Jessica Gadbois and Jessica Pidgeon have in common? Quite a few things, including the great honor of being named to CRN’s 2021 Women of the Channel List.
Every year, CRN, a top technology news and information source for IT channel partners and solution providers, releases their Women of the Channel List. I am excited to announce that two of Acumatica’s partner channel executives, Jessica Gadbois, Director of Partner Enablement, and Jessica Pidgeon, Partner Programs Manager, have been selected as CRN’s 2021 Women of the Channel List honorees.
About Acumatica’s CRN’s 2021 Women of the Channel List winners
Jessica G. and Jessica P. demonstrate daily the leadership, dedication, and channel advocacy that CRN celebrates and acknowledges with their annual list. Here is a look at who they are, what they’ve accomplished, and why the recognition by CRN is well deserved.
Jessica Gadbois
Jessica is a Bryant University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She joined the Acumatica cloud ERP team as a specialist in the manufacturing channel after successfully working at Oracle NetSuite as a product consultant. Quickly establishing herself as a valuable and trusted expert in the manufacturing vertical, Jessica is now the lead female product evangelist at Acumatica and the first person to demonstrate software to the channel partners for every Acumatica product release.
Jessica was recently promoted to Director of Partner Enablement, a position specifically created for her. In turn, Jessica has helped create Acumatica’s enablement program. Her focus is ensuring that every channel partner is informed, educated, and ready to sell Acumatica. This is a huge responsibility as Acumatica sells entirely through the channel. Our partners’ success is Acumatica’s success, and Jessica is 100% dedicated to providing the tools, resources, and training needed to make that happen.
One of her goals is to enable Acumatica VARs to build dominant sales practices in a customer-centric manner. Living by the Golden Rule—treat others the way you want to be treated—is the standard for Jessica, and she is determined that Acumatica customers will be delighted customers.
In response to earning a spot on CRN’s 2021 Women of the Channel List, Jessica says, “It is an honor to be able to serve Acumatica’s partner community every day. If our partners succeed, Acumatica succeeds—so I take my job very personally.”
She also takes the role women plays in the tech industry personally, saying women are severely underrepresented. She wants to be part of a change. “I want young women to understand that they are needed here, wanted here, and can make a difference here.”
I am excited to see what Jessica accomplishes in the year ahead for the Acumatica partner channel and for women in technology. As noted in her 2021 Women of the Channel bio, “Jessica does not break glass ceilings; she shatters them.”
Jessica Pidgeon
Before joining the Acumatica team, Jessica lived and worked abroad for eight years. She has now been with Acumatica one and a half years, helping Acumatica VARs succeed by focusing her passion for organizational behavior, processes, and programs in the technology sector into delivering programs that enable partner growth. Creating a thriving ecosystem and strong vendors through a collaborative, human approach is Jessica’s goal, and she is excited to make the partners’ experience better every day.
Jessica led a cross-functional executive team to redesign the 2020 partner program for 2021, resulting in the first comprehensive program guide and a large, virtual event to announce these program changes to the Acumatica partner ecosystems. She also set clear processes for ensuring partners remained in Good Standing.
Jessica is committed to serving the channel’s needs and has helped advance Acumatica’s channel business in numerous ways during just this year alone. For example, she formed Acumatica’s platform strategy committee, leading it in closing internal communication gaps that inevitably occurred, and ensuring all channel partners are fully apprised of pending product and program changes. Her efforts also included overseeing the launch of a single-sign-on process for customers and partners and redefining the permission-based roles facilitating the ease of user management across various platforms.
Jessica has also helped partners succeed this year by implementing protocols to help partners handle customer challenges through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jessica Pidgeon’s goal for the Acumatica channel business is to support growth through expanding and improving Acumatica’s partner network and encouraging a customer-first mindset. A firm believer in communication as a way to overcome challenges and forging authentic, person-to-person connections, Jessica is an amazing addition to Acumatica cloud ERP.
Regarding the CRN’s 2021 Women of the Channel List award, Jessica says, “I am incredibly honored to have been selected as a CRN Women of the Channel winner in 2021 and humbled by the company I keep in this elite group of successful women. Many with far greater experience than I have mentored me along this path, and I feel this platform affords an opportunity for me to do the same with others wishing to learn the necessary skills.”
She adds, “Thank you to CRN, Acumatica, and Geoff Ashley for making this possible.”
Well-deserved recognition
The inclusion of Jessica G. and Jessica P. in CRN’s list is a well-deserved recognition. As Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company, said, “CRN’s 2021 Women of the Channel List acknowledges accomplished, influential women whose dedication, hard work, and leadership accelerate channel growth. We are proud to honor them for their many accomplishments and look forward to their continued contributions to the IT channel.”
Congratulations, Jessica G. and Jessica P.! The Acumatica Partner Program would not be what it is today, including being one of CRN’s 5-Star Partner Programs, without your leadership and dedication.
On a personal note, I would not be where I am today without the support, leadership, and contributions of these two exceptional women, and I am incredibly proud that they are both on my team. Jessica G. and Jessica P. represent the next wave of leaders at Acumatica—and their futures are not only bright, but as unlimited as their potential!
